getting started.. for real this time
I think I’m doing well, considering the fact that this time last year I didn’t even bother to try this whole novel-writing thing. So far, I’ve written up most of my main character’s details, her family’s and a few of the antagonists that may (or may not – some are TBD) appear in my novel. Still need to work on some of the more minor charaacters however…
Though I did jot down some ideas for a couple chapters later in the book. Let’s hope I can keep up the momentum.

getting started
Sign-ups start this evening. And so does the prep work for my first novel. Or, perhaps novella, should I decide to keep it to 50,000 words only. I’ll cross that bridge when I get there, though.
Later today I’m going to work on my main character and, if I have time, her family. All sorts of random background info, appearance, interests/hobbies, likes and dislikes, personality, quirks and so on. Need to get some breakfast in me and run a couple errands and then I will get started.
